Everything drives a nail
Into my eye
Even the reflection
of the self

Hands around my throat
Trying to set me free,
Feeding into the games
of a restless mind
Just for watering
the fire in me

Hate holding on to life
Love letting go of the weight,
to release the self
the mind falls nowhere
While shadows itch
Through each cell

Ringing the bell of time
Just to silence these mind games
a madness crawling through

Something catches my eye
I crawl into an ear
Each time
Because tears refuse to fall
Even when it's time

They say it's just life
That it'll pass like the wind
They say, let go of your body
but something is happening
half-measured
half-madness
Me in full contrast

My mantra:
