Restrained Me Poem by Carike Klokow

Restrained Me

Sable eyes staring into the sky
a casualty to the question why
A reason needed since mine birth
why was i put on this earth?

Reprehension is all that looms
while this bud never blooms
For tort is all that i've ever known
seething feelings are all i've shown
Fundamentally loathsome my jollity
for it's the person i'll always be
open your eyes and see
subaltern entity
=Me
