Restraint Poem by Adam Harding

Restraint

have you
ever had
one of
those nights
where you
feel contained
and stifled
and you
just want
to scream
but you
are afraid
of waking
up your
parents so
you just
have to
sit there
and deal
with the
feeling of
entrapment?

a creative
blockade that
will not
let you
breathe or
feel free
or happy.

tonight is
one of
those nights.
