Retirement's the time to leave
Some things you did for long;
And do those things you couldn't find time,
And sing your lifetime's song!
Retirement's, not end to all
The things you always did;
You re-schedule priorities,
And do some things God-bid!
‘Tis time to peep into your health,
And look after your soul;
Rejuvenate your mind and heart,
And say ‘Good-bye' to wealth.
And doctors need not ‘off' the switch
Of daily work and chores;
You have the time, you never had
To open newer doors!
Retirement and old age are
A bounty that's from God;
He wants you nearer him, though far -
Reward for working hard!
A positive outlook is fine,
As precious-most is time;
May be, you have to lessen wine,
Brisk-walk, despite the clime.
The decision is made some day,
Or it will come bolt-like;
Remember wisdom that's God's way,
You'll love, never dislike!
Happy Retirement Doctor!
