Retribution - Poem by Yoan Konkobo

Whilst shrouded in a veil of lies
I feel no remorse as I stand over the corpse
The one whom I thought was the villain
Lies at my feet
Dead, and full of lead
The bullets of which pierced his flesh
Disappear deep inside his chest
An eye for an eye I have taken
But don't get my revenge mistaken
For I have sinned
And I lie in wait
For a swift and fierce Retribution
