Revelation's Light Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Revelation's Light

On Patmos isle, John, old and worn,
A vision saw, a truth was born.
Around the year ninety-five,
He wrote it down, to keep alive.

A King unseen, a Judge so bright,
Jesus is coming, with all His might.
He reigns above, in glory's light,
And evil's dark will lose the fight.

John the Apostle, the writer's name,
Saw Jesus' power, His holy flame.
He holds the keys, of life and death,
And guards His own, with every breath.

In Heaven now, He intercedes,
For faithful souls, who plant the seeds.
He rules the world, with gentle hand,
Preparing for the promised land.

Are we near the end, some may ask,
Since Jesus came, to do His task?
But tribulation's final sting,
A future truth, the prophets sing.

Be faithful, friends, through troubled days,
Let hope ignite, in countless ways.
For God will win, His promise true,
A new earth formed, and heavens new.

Revelation's gift, a light so clear,
Jesus is Lord, banish all fear.
He'll dwell with us, forevermore,
On that bright, everlasting shore.
