Revenga Poem by Elizabeth Lervåg

Revenga

I want the world to see
That my hate for you is real
The weakest sign of your glee
The pain you made me feel

Did you know you killed me then?
The way you left me there bleeding
Was one my way to happiness when
I found myself not breathing

Your eyes so cold and hard
Looking at my bleeding chest
Hidden from me you held your card
That was your only quest

It rained that day
I remember it clearly
You ran away
Left me so dearly

Now I know what I must do
Fight for what I have left
Show everyone that I wont allow you
To get away with such a cheap theft

I know you will run from me
I know I must follow
Its only natural, you see
I'm a though bite to swallow

You better be weeping
Cus' I'm here to be your nightmare
My hate you're for ever keeping
You're as always so easy to scare
