Revolution Poem by Briana Rhymer

Revolution

What i fear the most, is coming to reality
Accepted this fact, now it's time to face the penalty
The tears just keep flowing, feelings running wild
How can this be? I'm still a teen, a child
It shouldn't be this way, enduring all this hurt and pain
Compare my mood with the weather; Lightning, Thunder, and Rain
Fighting an internal battle, deciding the fate of my soul
Which entity will win? Which one will have control?
A war within my heart, is also taking place
To love or not? The same or move one? Who will win the race?
Thinking of all my regrets and all mistakes I made
The situation I've been in...then everything just...fades...
The pain goes first...then the fear...
God speaks to me, Says how He cares
Comforts me in times of need, Encourages to do great deeds
Helps me in my nights of sorrow, Promising a better tomorrow
He dries the tears from my eyes, Teaches me His Word; it never lies
He has faith in me, I'm on a mission
Find the path to my goal, and make that transition
