Forever a stranger is all I'll ever be,
Let me be or take me as I am, just me! !
My youth has left and old age is ahead,
I still love to write, the skill is not dead;
I browse my verses, slowly thru' the pages
Memories come floating by lost in the ages.
Doggerel or rhymes hooked am I for sure…
There's no let-up addicted am I without cure.
Alone and unseen in silence to slowly tread,
Following a dream to live life in comfort ahead! !
