Rhythm And Blues Poem by Mae Ethan

Rhythm And Blues

When I am alone and lonely
And no one seems to be friendly
I would resort fitting my dancing shoes
And would hum rhythm and blues
Rhythm and blues.

If the day gets somewhat dreary
And at night I feel a little weary
All I have to do is wear my shoes
And sway to the old rhythm and blues
Rhythm and blues.

If people act unkind and unforgiving
Instead of forever be oft-loving
What I do instead is slip on my dancing shoes
And happily sing to rhythm and blues
Rhythm and blues.

You see, for me it has always been easy
Washing away worries as I'm always ready
I would always cling on to my dancing shoes
And dance to the old rhythm and blues
Rhythm and blues.
