Richer Than Gold Poem by Krisztian Fercsek

Richer Than Gold

Rating: 5.0

Empty pockets but a heart still strong
We kept moving we kept holding on
Cold street mornings heavy skies above
Still we found a little light in love

No gold shining no easy way through
Still I stayed still I walked with you
They chase money but they never see
Love and kindness make us truly free

Rise up rise up out of the dark
Carry the fire carry the spark
No price no chain no diamond glow
Can buy the heart that beats below

Step by step we break the night
Holding on to what is right
No amount can ever own
A soul that shines all on its own

Love is richer richer than gold
Warmer than silver stronger than stone
We may have nothing nothing to show
But love is richer richer than gold

Old worn jacket tired eyes at night
Still your soul keeps burning bright
One small kindness one open door
Can mean much more than the rich want more

Richer Than Gold
