Rickshaw Man. Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Rickshaw Man.

He told me,
Confided.
Without my encouragement,
I was elated.
I had the energy,
Or he the courage.
Exclaimed he alas!
There were customers,
Who paid fines,
For rule breaks,
They constituted,
Through the power of their buy,
Backed by the ethics,
Of their wallet.
