Riff On Gajanan Mishra’s 'Girl' Poem by David McLansky

Riff On Gajanan Mishra’s 'Girl'

Demon Girl
Keeper of the Flame
In your shimmering sheath
You move naked without shame;
Your perfect lips are silent
You glide on bejeweled feet
Along the columns' line,
Amiid the torches flickering sweep
How your golden body shines
Self-conscious that you are divine
