Right About, Now Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Right About, Now

Where do you rob
All these wonderful tales from
Or is it really
Just your beautiful mind?
Something erupts in me
I want to come at you
With all that I’ve got
But I’m here
You’re there
Being most wondrous
And irresistible
With your every word
Your every thought

I wish I could express
But at the same time
Be a mystery too
But it goes to show
You’ve stolen all of me
Even what I once used
To make me describe you
You are all sorts
Of wonderful and joy
And knowing I’ve got you
I’d probably burst
Into a thousand flames
Right about… now
