Rip Daddy Poem by Ragan Brumfield

Rip Daddy

I never thought I'd see the day
When I wasn't daddy's little girl anymore
The day when I wasn't daddy's princess
But when that day came, I learned that it was okay
Life goes on
Somedays I feel like its all a dream, but then I wake up
I know you're looking down, smiling at me
I try to make you happy each and everyday and lord knows I try very hard
But now daddy you are gone
And all I'm left with are memories, some good and some very bad
Daddy I love and miss you very much, but I know you're in a better place.
