'Rise From Within' Poem by Ifechieme Eme

'Rise From Within'

Low self-esteem, fear, and insecurity
In the heart of a sweet young girl.
A heavy heart, afraid of losing,
Burdened by the weight of the world.

Listening to voices that don't matter,
Telling me I'm not enough.
But deep inside, I hear a whisper:
'You are strong, you are tough.'

Courage to stand,
Boldness to speak.
I'll speak for myself
No longer weak.

Bold enough to dream,
Bold enough to lead,
Born to shine,
Not to fade or plead.

I'm a leader, not a follower,
A boss, not a messenger.
I am more than I think I am,
More than the world can measure.

So beautiful, so full of grace,
I won't let failure steal my place.
Even if I fall, I'll rise again,
For every fall will shape my gain.

Failure is not the end,
But the road I walk upon.
No turning back, I'll push ahead
And keep on keeping on.
