Rising Poem by Ethan Wilson

Rising

Do not fear the day you must go on your own
For you will be strong then but never alone
The day you are asked to leave and find a new home
Rise to the challenge and start your way down a new road

For all is lost if you dare to dream not
And all is broken if you have forgot
All that you learned will be more then boycott
You will wish you had asked and remembered and fear alot

There will come a day worse then independence
It is when you leave never to return again
You will either cry or be happy and all of that is dependant
On if you lived your life to full and was it strictly transcendant

So my advice to all is to be bigger then life
Live so hard that you will be happy to rest and die
Breathe every breath more then the usual sigh
And always dare to go beyond, dare to rise
