Risky Love Poem by Dr. H S Swadhin Kumar Pal

Risky Love

Risky Love
~Dr. H. S. Swadhin Kumar Pal

Love walks a road where no map is drawn,
A promise whispered at dusk and dawn;
Some hearts bloom, while others break,
Trust is a gift that few can make,
Yet every soul dares the uncertain way.

A smile may hide a thousand lies,
While truth sleeps deep behind bright eyes;
Hands once joined may drift apart,
Leaving echoes in a faithful heart,
Teaching pain what hope once knew.

Some lovers build forever's home,
Others leave us lost to roam;
Loyal hearts withstand the storm,
Though betrayal changes every form,
Still love refuses to surrender its flame.

There are tears that cleanse the soul,
And joys that make the broken whole;
One farewell may end the night,
Another embrace restores the light,
For destiny writes what reason cannot.

So love with courage, not with fear,
Treasure each moment while it is near;
Whether temporary or forever true,
Its greatest risk reveals the real you,
For love remains life's most beautiful uncertainty.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The poem "Meet My Expectations" expresses the idea that people naturally have desires, hopes, and expectations in life. We often wish for success, happiness, and our dreams to come true, but life does not always fulfill our expectations exactly as we imagine. The poem teaches that while it is good to dream and aim high, we should not become disappointed or lose hope when things do not go our way. Failures and unmet expectations are a part of life and help us grow stronger and wiser. The true lesson of the poem is to keep hope and ambition alive while learning to accept life with patience, courage, and positivity.
