River Of Night Poem by Binoy Barman

River Of Night

Lonely night, lonely man
A ghostly swan swims on black curls
Cold stars descending from heaven
Make love with sexy mermaids
Lanterns of fish-boats close eyes in shame
The river flows through the tunnel of gloom
On the other side of mist, houses of life, light
Rippling algae still dream of lost chastity
Flow! Flow! Smile of Innocent child
Mild moon, rosy kiss, in silent tune
River, the river of night
Wash me away
I want to die
Deep in you.
