River Of Sorrow Poem by William Taylor

River Of Sorrow

Keep rowing the boat on my river of sorrow
I will embark you towards a greater tomorrow
Ignore the eels beneath your feet
Focus on sailing towards the sea
I will ship you to where you will be free
Ignore the birds above your head
Beautiful wings tempted to misled
Follow my directions and do as said
And all my sorrow will soon be dead
I will embark you towards a warmer bed
Read the waves just like a book
Learn my past and what has been took
Introduce your eyes to a deeper look
Ignore my happiness see my pain
Take away the darkness I have gain
Feel my wrath accept my rain
I will embark towards a cleaner drain
No more sailing on your own
No more rowing all alone
Clouds disappearing clearing the sky
Stretch your precious wings and fly
Together soaring so high
My sorrow isn't an obstacle anymore
United in a greater tomorrow
