Its been a lonely lonely night...
and now in my arms...
i'm holding your picture....
still sizzled by your charm...
i pretend there will be no day..
and since you've gone...
and sunshine has faded away...
tears are all i have..
tears are all i feel..
dead within.. fo so long..
tears, oh they feel real...
i've been searching you in my room..
all around my walls..
on the ceiling...
on my bed..
in my arms...
i wanna hold you...like you chased away my fears..
coz im drowning..
in a river of tears....

Sunday morning..
cold breeze....grey white world,
frozen till eternity,
white...holding the deep black void..
and i'm freezing too...
my heart.. fading into oblivion..
and my memory..
recalls the last traces
of you lips on mine..
sweet warm, and forever..
and now that you have gone..
you have taken the smiles too..
my...my moment of reality...seem nowhere in sight..
its no where near..
and m drowning..
in a river of tears....

i saw them sing..
the whiskey lullaby...
to he, who left them...
sweet sound of cold depression..
melting into my ears..
and perhaps one fine day..
when the cold has died into the lap..
of sunshine..
and clear blue skies..
hovers the feelings of hope...
i'll lie in peace..
and you'll come..
you’ll come and sing me a lullaby..
when the mind will sleep...
and my heart will be clear..
i'll no longer drown..
in the river of tears....
