Road To Nowhere Poem by Valerie Daley

Road To Nowhere

I'm tired of being on the road to
nowhere;
Tired of people hating each
other for all the wrong reasons;
Glad to see the changing of the seasons;
The stars hold the answer to the tears of
the universe.
Far away, distant specks of light.
But here on earth, there must be a way to
rise up to meet ones own desire;
To put out the flames of love's painful fire.
Yes, it's confusing but I see a flicker of light at
the end of a dark tunnel.
I will try to keep my aura safe from the
unkindness of the world.
