He's such a cool dude with a bad attitude
Brown eyes, nice smile
He said come with me for awhile
I took the chance and danced his dance

In the morning we awoke
With our eyes we spoke
Of secrets only lovers share
Of thoughts only we could dare
It was worth a moment in time
And I prayed he'll always be mine

By night I was singin' the blues
Turns out I had to choose
Between what I didn't want
And what I couldn't get
I was back in the street
Searchin' for new people to meet.
