Rock N Roll Lies Poem by KUNAL SETH

Rock N Roll Lies

Stirred souls confused byproducts of a generous tribe
Conversations about vices by so called wise
Pledging on deprived feelings
Some bartered some are so mine
Grooving in the pool of rhymes
Guitars, drums and the perpetual buzz
An aura of voices improvised
Repetitions, inspirations and cover acts
Different sounds of the same facts
Mortals and their believable lives
Jibing recklessly like busy flies
We all return to it mesmerized
We all return to it with hurt prides
Like to a benign house for the discarded kinds
Often at helm are over rated passions
Miseries overshadowed and explained with compassion
Lyrical myths and jugglery of tunes
Upbeat and infinite blues
Strong and dark
Shiny and fragile
Hallucinating stories of rock n roll lies.

-Nov.5 09’ in a dark room in a dark mood
