ROOTS
A POEM BY DR. RAM SHARMA
When i passes through distant villages,
I am haunted by a desire,
Alas! i should be there,
I should have a big house,
An orchard, cattles and trees,
Fields have been changed into colonies,
We have disappeared in the city,
We have lost our identity,
We have forgotten our roots
