Roses - Poem by zac guthrie

it started with a gold
to show the care
and see a friend

then u did it
the most proud moment of your life
u saw a goal and reached it
and got an orange

you looked beautiful
so nice and splenderful
and got a pink

then i saw it
the true beauty
your perfect form
and to you a red

we loved each other
and lived together
we were one
a white to you

u were speical
never to understand
and like u a blue

then it came
the grief the loss
a black to my love
gone from life

my turn came
to join my love forever
i layed there
with not black but white again
