Roses Are Red (Biblical Version) Poem by Wykeshia McCallister

Roses Are Red (Biblical Version)

Roses are red,
Certain roses are blue;
Old things have passed away,
Behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5: 17)

Roses are red,
Other roses are white,
Christ said we must be born again,
And in His light. (John 3: 7)

Roses are red,
Some roses are pink;
I may not be perfect,
But I am to die for,
That's what He think.

Roses are red,
Other roses are teal;
Christ can save, and He can heal,
And He say "Peace, be still." (Mark 4: 39)

Roses are red,
Even roses are yellow;
He's my joy and sorrow,
And my hope for tomorrow.

Ever wonder why I keep saying "Roses are red"
It's because red is the color of the blood He shed;
If your heart has been torn,
Think about how Christ was scorned;
Even if your life is not a bed of roses,
Remember the One who worn the thorns. (John 19: 5)
