Many say that I am sweet as golden honey;
Truth is the law of my mouth is better than anything to me,
But when I started to keep it real, they underestimated me.
I SAY:
For wisdom is better than rubies.
And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to me.

I yearned to be the woman a man needs
For my heart is hidden in the Lord almighty

I'd rather be the one with a heart of peace to my husband,
Than to be the one with an evil heart that rots his bone.

I don't dress to impress, I'm all about being the best
But if a man loves me less
Then he can't handle me in a wedding dress

I am not dressed in gold and fine linen
Strength, honor, and modesty are my clothing

You can say that I'm a beautiful person,
And it's all because I use the fruit of my lips to speak the truth and wisdom,
Which proves that I've used my lips and my voice as a beauty's secret weapon.

And the law of kindness is in my tongue.

Understand that I have a beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit;
For in God's eyes I know that I am a precious gift,
And He's the reason why I am blessed to inherit it.
