Rosy Wind Poem by Casey Jarrell

Rosy Wind

Flying across the southern sky,
there is a fragrance traveling ever so sly.
There is joy that it will bring.
It will even make you feel like you want to sing.

Even though we don't know where it will come,
we will still be able to smell it some.
It is a fragrance ever so sweet.
It will even attract a parakeet.

It will be from your bouquet of roses.
Bring your gift just like god to moses.
