Rot Spot

You call a spot of high gas levels in the soil
'Hot' in the middle of winter,
you turn it into an oasis.

Drop 'Hot', call it 'Rot',
German for 'Red',
Universal for 'Danger'.

Call it Rot, Red, or Danger Spot.
(Hot
only on a rotten day in summer)
