Rough Copy Poem by Neeraj Mishra

Rough Copy

All the solved questions of Mathematics are your borrower.
Calligraphy of Hindi and English is your borrower.
Lectures of my teachers are your borrower.
Speed of my pen is your borrower.
Physics, Chemistry and Biology are your borrower.
All those fair copies are your borrower
For whom you became "rough"...
All the games are your borrower
Which have been played on last pages.
All the marksheets are your borrower locked into almirah.
All the academic qualifications are your borrower.
And among all these borrowers
An embarrassed man is staying.
Who is embarrassed because...
He altered a magical copy into rough copy.
A magical copy wherefrom all the fair copies have prepared.
Who is embarrassed because...
Lifetime he kept this copy nude without binding.
Who is embarrassed because...
Lifetime he denominate this copy as "rough copy".
