Row Row Rown Your Boat - A Song

Row Row Row yr Boat, gently Down the Stream
Merrily merrily merrily merrily, Life is But a Dream.
Row row row yr boat, gently down the Brook
If you catch a little fish, let it off the hook.
Paddle paddle paddle your boat, gently down the stream
If you see a Crocodile, don't forget to Scream!
Row row row yr boat, gently up the River
If you see a penguin there, don't forget to shiver.
Sail sail sail yr boat out into the Bay
If you see a Pirate Ship, sail the other way!
Sail sail sail yr ship safely to the shore
If you see a Lion there don't forget to Roar!
Row row row yr boat gently down the stream
Merrily merrily merrily merrily, Life is but a Dream! PLUS! !
Float float float yourself, in the swimming pool
If there is not water there, you'l feel just like a fool.
Row row row yrself gently to the sea
If you meet a giant whale please don't call for me!
Sail sail sail yr boat, anywhere you like
But if you should meet an elephant you'd wish you were on yr bike!
Row row yr boat gently down the Nile
Just when you are fast asleep, you'll meet that crocodile!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
here is the familiar children's song with soem added verses. Even with the old crocodile in it this always seemed just a bit boring, as the child gets somewhat older he or she might like this. just sing it to the existing tune.
