Rubble's Revenge - Poem by Daisy Lyne Thakerby
I lie and wait,
The rubble ‘round your feet.
I plot a plan, this forgettable
Pebble am I.
So looked over, so stepped on.
Soon, I will have my irrevocable revenge
You’re six feet tall, oblivious to the world
About your feet,
So why would you ever look down?
Look at you, so pompous
And so tall as you walk
As if you own the world.
Too bad you won’t see me
Glowering at your toes.
Yes, that’s it, just one step more…
Bam!
Victory is mine!
Serves you right.
Maybe you will learn
To pay attention to us rocks.
