Rubicon Poem by Stefan Splawinski

Rubicon

splendid temples of religion
were created to forever last
just vestiges of a bygone age
monuments to a glorious past

now dwarfed by mammons gains
banking and insurance towers
jobcentres and security lairs
expressions of earthly powers
