Rules Poem by Gabriel Rivera

Rules

This is the place, called home.
where I can run,
without asking: where I come from?
here I have learned to wear the mask
that make me be a person of the future
and I hope when I come back to the land
that I was born.
nobody treated me as a traitor.
because that was never my main reason
to go beyond the stars
to touch the moon
and to carry the new songs
that spread my experienc
to my young generation.
