Run Afar If You Love Me. Poem by Abraham Isaac Wamala

Run Afar If You Love Me.

I testify of your pure love
Blazing amidst of incessant fog
Fuming by rise, noon and at comfort sleep.
It kept me at a bliss with the angels
I worried not at the terror by the waves while at the shores.
You subdued them at the coffee table.

Amar, you have to run.
As far as the east is from the west, escape my heart.
Hearken not to mine speech because it clusters in deceit.
I developed sharpened claws
They will uproot your glammer

I whisper to thy ears in parable
Run afar if you love me
I have entangled a wall of traps
They await upon your tenderness

Shame belittles my face, its hissing is now a roar
Beloved I could not mention but rather write
Run afar if you love me.
Thirsty Shadow...
