Running Poem by Taylor Vail

Running

Rating: 2.0

In school, I wait for sun
To bust through the doors and run
Feel the grass tickle my feet
Dandelions, sticky and sweet
Running and running, never stop
Never rest or outrun a cop
Always running away from fears
Always chasing after tears
