Russia Poem by Jamie Kovey

Russia

Rating: 4.3

When first snowflakes appear in country's face
The people start to sing the songs in joy
The sparks in eyes are shown in everyplace
In every man and woman, girl and boy.
In many little towns there's winter fete
And people gather round for 'Merry Dance'
The cities have the 'Santa Claus Parades'
With marching giant toys like bears from Mars.
There are a lot of sculptures made of ice
That glow at night in every city's heart
The families just wait for sun to rise
To celebrate the Happy New Year's start...
The greatest country, queen of arts and cold,
My dearest Russia, with the soul of gold.
