Sacrifice Poem by Hunter Kid

Sacrifice

Dreams maybe shattered!
And blood begins to splatter.
The bell starts to ding.
As your ears start to ring.
This final moment could be your last.
Crowd stands up applauding to the end.
Punches being thrown like you have a message that needs to be sent.
The referee begins to count
laying on the ground.
Life begins to flash as now you are down?
A light inside
Starts to spark inside.
you stand up as you give it one more try.
Emotions start to hit as you remember you fit.
Sacrificing your body till you hit the limit.
I never understand what happened next.
Mind went blank as I made it to the end.
I look around the crowd and seeing them clap.
My fist in the air. but my view so bare.
I won my fight and gave it all.
I start to walk down to my locker room hall.
That I won't fight anymore.
I sacrificed my body way too much.
Now I want to retire on top.
