Sacrifice Of The Hades Exodus Poem by Reverend Jarrod Plantagenet-Capet

Sacrifice Of The Hades Exodus

Soul-mates unmistakable
Their bond was unbreakable
This truth undebatable
True love's what they share
Their hearts were insatiable
From youths just unshakable
Pure and untaintable
Lifelong love affair
Together forever
And without a care
Until fate threw its weight
Around with a dare

On watershed day
Solemn and grey
War-drum thunder
Clouds stormy dismay
Proud the flag waved
O'er the army it raised
To reveille's cadence
Marched the crusade
Its tribulation through trials
Of violence and pain
The vanquished speak silence
For the holiest name

A warriors artistry
Painted in shame
Returns empty handed
No scapegoat to blame
This legionnaire lovelorn
War-torn and sore
Returns to his castle
And walks through the door
Where the tinker toy soldiers
Soul-mate thought him lost
Despair her corrupter
Abducts her for cost

Paid upon death rattle
Last gasp of breath
To Hades he's saving
Her soul left bereft
Hell bent on descent
For her, Heaven sent
A deal with the devil
Money well spent
His soul for hers
Pitch black market price
His cardinal virtue
Self sacrifice
