Sacrifice To What We Should Be Poem by Julio 2 Amarante

Sacrifice To What We Should Be

Slumber, Sacred Goat, Satanism,
Sacrifice to what we should be,
So virtuoso as always was he,

Plough insensate, riding on stones
Parsimonious subject content with bones
Slumber, sacred goat, Satanism

Tabula unius capax, game of do or die
No rest for the wicked, no time to say Hi
So virtuoso as always was he

As a youngster he had fallen with manichaeism
At his late teens he was scientific epistemological
Slumber, Sacred Goat, Satanism

Life had taught him lessons, praise thee
Habermas, Gadamer, Jaspers, all capitulate
So virtuoso as always was he

The end is the beginning, he found philosophies
Right in bakery and Poetry, outside the Lyceum
Slumber, Sacred Goat, Satanism
So virtuoso as always, was he

PS
This almost a meta poem, less confessional than randomly nascent sarcastically from a first hypothetical stanza.
