Sad In Blue - Poem by John Henry Gillin

I'm sad today, I'll be sad tonight
step by step, I struggle to step
there's no wake in my step
no way to make my way
step by step I struggle to step.

I'm sad tonight, I'll be sad tomorrow
will you help me make my step.

Tonight I'm blue, there still no moon.
No moon sad sad, sad in blue
will you help me make my step.

Tonight hold me tight, I'm still blue
blue with no moon, no wake in my step
I'll struggle to step without your help.
Step by step still no moon.
Tonight hold me tight, I'm still blue
