Sad Nightmare... Poem by John F. Bisner Ureña.

Sad Nightmare...

I try to be jovial
but haggard enthusiasm
does not burn the palpitations of a heart
asleep on cheeks flushed with tenderness,
pretend love plays with the soft air as it passes
innocent without giving up a look of encouragement,
noble predicament of the nightingale that endures
the seductive harshness in the whisper of life...

John F. Bisner Ureña.
