Sadness is in my life
It won't stop coming to me
from the inside, it scratches me like a knife
but from the outside, it stings me like a bee
I hide it with a smile and some laughter
but it doesn't make me feel good
for it'll make me sad after
oh yes it would
and every time I let go
and so people would see,
and they would know
but I wouldn't agree
I hide it inside
l lock it, so it wouldn't fly free
it will fool some,
but others will see
that sadness will haunt,
and never leave me
Sadness will eventually pass
and greater will be
and yes it will pass
and no more there will be

Sadness is in my life It won't stop coming to me from the inside, it scratches me like a knife but from the outside, it stings me like a bee Which is worse, the inside pain or the outside pain? For most people, I am sure that it is the pain inside. Sadness can be overcome. You can be happy if you really want to be. As Roger Miller said, You can't go swimmin' in a baseball pool, But you can be happy if you've a mind to. All you gotta do is set your mind to it; Knuckle down, buckle down, do it, do it, do it!
