There was a war
It was 1944
I was on the floor
You were the girl crying next door

It was the end of the world
We had empty thoughts
You came and cured me under the bombs
And I was like a new born

I might die today leaving you here
Don’t be sad
Love again without a fear

I know it will be hard on you soon
But I’ll be watching you under the clouds of noon

As u go on in this world
Remember me
Remember us and all we used to be
But this was our destiny

I hated dying
Cause it kept you away from smiling

Was I the reason or was it the war
Should I cry or leave u alone
Now im alive and wanting to be 17 again
But it brings back the pain again
I wanted us forever but it didn’t came real...Never and ever
Im alone now like you
Wishing for something new
It could be our happy view
But I know I would be fool
