Safe And Sound



How long I stood there
I do not know
I loved how it felt
I couldn't go
I had no option
I had to stay
I had no choice
It had to be that way
I stood there
Looking up at the star-filled sky
I took a deep breath
And started to cry
All was lost
But at the same time all was found
I was home
Safe and sound
