Saga Poem by Michelle Mendoza

Saga

Under the stars were the sky is blue
I lay my hand and heart upon You
For into my soul I seek to Thee
The love and care that I shall never see

Through mountains and valleys beneath Your wings
You spread Your power through the bird that sings
You are indeed splendid that of a love
For You are the Father up above

I hinder not d thoughts of mind
That brought man one of a kind
You have given gifts for them to find
Good deeds, not the perverse and unkind

I hinder not the skills of hand
That covered land of steel, rocks and sand
From all the lavish things the world have known
Love and benevolence in hearts have flown

Though I detest best perils, grief and death
By all the less fortunate that catches their breath
I strongly hold unto You my Lord
Be my shepherd with mighty sword

Nights may come and shadows may fall
Dread may appear and despair may call
From where I am from which I dwell
Thy meek glory i proudly tell

From You my life begun
For You my life be gone
You are the alpha and omega
In Your hands I will end my saga
