Sail Poem by Mia Ocean

Sail

Rating: 3.5

The sound of the wind hums in my ears,
The salty water splashes my face.
I close my eyes,
And feel the boat rock back and forth.
The sail luffs,
The wind dies down.
It picks back up,
The boat capsizes,
And I laugh.
I climb back in the boat,
And bail the water out,
And I laugh.
Why do I laugh?
The sea has stolen my heart,
And I can't get enough of it.
