Sailer, A Poem By Nokutenda Mupamombe

Harsh tides vicious storm
A frail sailer with a hope
Far different from the norm

He sails the seemingly
Ridiculously large
Body of invisible substance
Apparently he likes to swim
Regularly diving in the water
Ignoring any consequence

The water requires no lung capacity
Only pure intentions
And a vivid curiosity
This is how the sailer rejuvinates
Maintaining his vitality

In the far horizon
The limit of his vision
An epiphany of his mission
To find land
And fulfill his premonition
