Plugged in my radio
above vanity.
Knob had long broken off my side
of the sliding medicine cabinet
mirror from when I'd cussed it shut
over adolescence gone missing.
Mother's voice came up
the laundry shute hatch,
'It's time for supper! '
Only one sink worked,
and dad's old razor kit
took up space.
